CCI / CCG's home is Oakland, California and many of the company's holdings are in this great city. Indeed, CCI / CCG's Managing Partner Phil Tagami has been an active community leader for years, leading the charge to change Oakland downtown development.

In the Rotunda, Tagami saw an opportunity to remake the grand structure, once the home of the Liberty House retail store, and set on a plan that few believed he could complete. But he did and proved that development could be done in Oakland, on time and on budget.

Now, Tagami and the CCG side of CCI / CCG has its sights set on The Fox Theater. The Fox -- an enormous structure with what is still to this day the largest theater stage west of The Mississippi River, is in the heart of what is called The Uptown Entertainment District, and will open October of 2008.
