BERKELEY -
Cal set a one-day sales record Tuesday when the Athletic Ticket Office sold 10,124 single-game tickets -- just another indicator of the increased interest in Golden Bear football.
Tuesday was the first day that single-game tickets for the 2005 season were made available, and fans took advantage by either purchasing their seats on the tickets link at CalBears.com or by calling (800) GO BEARS.
The Nov. 12 Cal-USC game was the biggest draw, as single-game reserved and GoldZone tickets sold out. A limited number of general admission tickets remain in the BlueZone.
Season-ticket packages that include all six home games -- including USC -- plus the 108th Big Game at Stanford are still on sale. Prices start at $235 for reserved seats, with additional packages for Faculty & Staff, Young Alumni, General Admission and Family Plans.
